Canon EOS Rebel T1i CYBER MONDAY, GOOD VALUE!
Love this camera!
I believe this camera to be my best purchase in years. I have discovered a new way of taking pictures and made some great memories over the past six months and plan on taking a lot more in the future.
I am totally new to the SLR world (coming from a Sony T100) and learned to use the basic functions on this camera in less than a day. I would recommend taking the time to read up on the features(focus on aperture, exposure and how to switch features). The site [...] would be a great start to learn about photography in general.
The picture quality is awesome and the videos are great. They are clear, sharp and the colors are popping really well. The kit lens is OK for outdoor shooting but not the best for low light areas.I have found the 50mm 1.8 to be the best ever lens for less than $100. Takes great pictures indoor and outdoor.
I have seen some complains about the video feature and I have to say it is not that much of an issue. Just learn to manually focus and develop your pan mouvement. Nothing is made perfect in this world so you need to adapt :)
The features are really easy to understand on this camera and the buttons are well placed no matter what your hand size is. My wife has small hands and can use the camera with no issues.I shoot both in RAW and JPEG and I have learn to do post processing to add my own effects to the pictures.
I would recommend getting a good case ( I purchased a Zing case on Amazon), some lens cleaning gear to carry and take care of the lens.
Buy it spcecially if you are new to the SLR world. Good value.

This is a great camera and worth it. The brochure is very easy to understand and instructions/information are clear. I recently used for my trip to Mount Rainier and Olympic national parks and I am really satisfied. For those who wants to learn photography, this is the best camera to start with.

Canon EOS Rebel T1i BLACK FRIDAY, Well-worth it!
This camera is fantastic! I love it. A little difficult with low light situations. And auto focus modes are useless - but what auto focus isn't? Definitely a camera for skilled photographers.

Well, where do I begin. I have owned this camera for the past 8 months and have just realized I never made a review for it. This is of course my first dslr. My first impressions about the camera weren't that great because at the time I still did not know fully how to use a dslr so i was doing everything in automatic mode which I know now is a big no-no most of the time. But shortly after I did teach myself how to do everything in full manual mode and I have to say the pictures come out very clear and sharp and will only have a lot of noise if I shoot in low light with a very high ISO like 12800 but most photographers should already know that's whats gonna happen plus I was only shooting that high of an ISO because I like to experiment with different settings and push the limitations. But the camera honestly works great, I have no issues with it and I feel like I am insulting it because all I can afford are cheap lenses (I own of the 18-55mm kit lens, the canon ef 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III, and a tamron 28-80mm lens and I am about to buy the canon 50mm f/1.8). The video mode could be better, but that is not what I bought this camera for, my family got this for me as a birthday/christmas/graduation gift since it was so expensive and also more within our price range. This is a great camera with a lot of great features which I dont need to get into since its all in the description I'm just posting my thoughts as a consumer about this product and I do recommend this camera for anybody wanting to get their first dslr, anyone wanting to buy a new one that wants an upgrade, or anybody even looking for just a backup body.

I received this camera as a Christmas present and upgrade from my Canon XTI. What a treat to use. I have yet to find anything wrong with this camera and have used it to take pictures from grandkids to birds feeding in my back yard and have been pleased with the results. I usually use a Tameron 18 -270 mm lens or a Sigma 18 -200 mm lens both of which are image stabalized. Since I am retired I have lots of time to play with the camera and have not had a bad picture because of the camera. The pictures taken at the zoo were amazing in color, clarity, and detail. The HD video capture works great and produces very good pictures. While they are not as good as my HD Video Camera, they are still worth while and enjoyable to watch. If I had to take one camera on a trip, this would be the one I would take. The quality of both the camera and the pictures it takes make this the one to own.

Canon EOS Rebel T1i BEST BUY, GREAT.
I like everything about it. It is easy to use and gives the possibility to explore. I love taking pictures at night and using manual mode.
If you are not an expert but would like to learn some photography I would recommend this product.

This was my first SLR camera and I think it was a great choice. I have taken so many pictures that turn out so much better than my other point-n-shoots cameras. The image quality is awsome and has so many features, still trying to learn them all. Even tried the video feature over the 4th of July and it works pretty good. Probably better than my smaller flip flash drive camera.
Received the discount for the additional zoom lens making this a great deal. That was the reason I bought it from Amazon. I would buy this camera again, and recommend it to people getting into SLR photography.

You do not have to be a professional to use this camera. I have taken excellent pictures in the auto mode! I will use the other settings as I learn more about the camera. I have been very pleased taking pictures in low light settings using the auto mode. I previously bought the Nikon P90 and sent it back because I could not take a decent picture indoors. All the pictures were blurry or orange. The Canon is the better camera hands down in my opinion.

I bought it with the standard 17-55mm lens and the picture quality is fantastic! Even in auto focus mode the pictures are so crisp and the colors so vibrant I am thrilled with the camera. I'm excited to learn more about the more advanced features of this camera, but as a novice I'm already having a great time and taking pictures I'm thrilled with. This is my first DSLR. I am not even an amateur photographer. I'm green as it gets. I was trying to pick between a Nikon and this camera. In the end it came down to comfort. The cannon felt more ergonomic and a little more user friendly. Though I can't tell you much about the infinite features this camera has, it has already been a real joy to use.

I am a complete amateur at photography and this is our first DSLR camera but I must say that even on it's basic auto settings I have taken the best pictures of any digital camera I have used. I can't wait to get into learning the advanced techniques with it. It is high for the price but well worth it because like many other things you get what you pay for... especially in electronic devices such as this.

Got this camera with the EF 55-300mm lens bundle as a present for my wife. She reviewed the specs before I made the purchase, so it wasn't exactly a surprise. But, she was definitely surprised at the quality and usefulness of the camera. She takes many pics of birds and other wild life, so is getting lots of use from the 55-300mm lens.
A few days after the camera arrived, she saw the same camera, but with a lesser lens bundle, for more money at our local Costco.
I was impressed with the very speedy and free delivery.
Note I left some categories un-rated as we have yet to use those features.
